Wardriving on rails
KisMAC during my trainride from Sittard to Eindhoven, some statistics (I started KisMAC around Roermond):
Number of Access Points: 199
No encryption: 63 (31,7%)
WEP encryption: 94 (47,2%)
WPA encryption: 42 (21,1%)
Some interesting names:
- Lastnames and first names are very common (“margreet”, “Tegelaers”, etc.)
- Manufacturers names (lots of Linksys and Sitecom)
- Descriptions of wireless (“Wireless netwerk”, “zonderdraad”, “zonderUTP”, etc.)
- Wishes or actual eventnames (I don’t know enough about soccer, “psvkampioen2005″)
